These were the words of the seventeen year old budding star, the English film, television and stage actor, the guy globally acclaimed for playing school-aged wizard, Daniel Radcliffe, well known as Harry Potter.

    Born on July 23, 1989, Daniel hails from the Fulham city in London. The only child of Alan Radcliffe and Gresham is certainly blessed with an innate versatility for acting. After acting at the school level, Daniel got the first chance to make it to the big screen in august 2000 when he was just eleven years old. He was selected in the auditions for the role of Harry Potter in the movie ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ (known as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in United States), the movie based on the famous book series by J.K Rowling.

The movie did hit the box office in the end of year 2001 and turned Daniel into a big star. Daniel’s performance was globally recognized and he soon became famous by the name of ‘Harry Potter’. In the same year Daniel also worked alongside Pierce Brosnan in the movie Tailor of Panama.

The immense success of first Harry Potter movie led to the making of its sequels. Daniel would have never thought that he had stepped on the escalator to success. Soon he returned with a bang with his second Harry Potter film entitled ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets’ in the year 2002. In 2004 Daniel replayed Harry Potter in ‘Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban’ whereas in the subsequent year he was seen on the silver screen enacting Harry in the sequel ‘Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire’. At present the bewitching guy is busy with the shooting of another sequel, ‘Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.’ His fans will be further blessed in the year 2008 when Harry will be seen in the forthcoming movies ‘Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince’ and ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’.

Daniel finds actresses insane

Here is something new to know about the 17 year old wizard Daniel Radcliffe that he finds women who are into acting profession ‘insane’. Daniel would want to have a relationship with a girl who is not an actress. He says “I think it would be very hard to go out with an actress, because they are mad.” Though Daniel so far has not worked with any nasty actress but he reveals beforehand that he would not like that.

Daniel is on cloud nine with n-number of teen gals giving their heart to him. But on the same hand he is a little embarrassed when these admiring dolls express their feelings in front of his mom who believes that her son is “an object of lust”.

An elated Daniel says "(My mother) didn't immediately understand that her little boy was not an object of lust. Someone said to me the other day, 'Do you ever worry that girls are just giving you attention because of who you are?' "I was like, 'I'm 17, and I don't care! It's wonderful.'”

Daniel gets nervous with girls

The young and handsome wizard, Daniel Radcliffe made an interesting revelation. The Harry Potter star told that he gets nervous and runs short of words when girls are around him. The 17 year old Radcliffe who stripped on the stage in London in Equus in the beginning of this year, feels insecure in front of girls and is scared of talking confronting him. Daniel says “Girls. I think that's the biggest insecurity for any guy. I never know what to say to them. Well, actually, that's not true - I do know what to say, but as soon as you fancy someone, everything changes."

Radcliffe has his followers

It is said that Orlando Bloom is soon going to follow Daniel Radcliffe’s footsteps in stripping off at the stage. Bloom who makes his West End theater debut in London this summer (in the month of July) in the revival of David Storey’s 1969 play in Celebration, will be playing one of the three brothers who returns home after their parents’ 40th wedding anniversary.the film will be directed by Anna MaCkmin.

However Bloom is too impressed by the Radcliffe going nude on stage in Equus in the beginning of this year, and wants to do the same. Bloom has decided to not just reveal his talents on stage but also his body. He says “tere is nothing wrong with a little bit of nudity. I am not sure I’ll be getting all my bits and pieces out, though.”
